On November 1st, 2020, Forest Young became Chief Creative Officer for global brand agency Wolff Olins. Join Mooren Bofill RGD, Partner at 123w, in a conversation with Forest about his new role and the ways in which our industry can thrive in these challenging times. She’ll ask him what it means to be a BIPOC global leader, in an industry criticized for its lack of diversity, and the ways our industry can foster community and connection with underrepresented creatives.
Forest is a designer and educator. At Wolff Olins he leads design initiatives for the world’s most influential companies. Forest is also a critic in graphic design at the Yale School of Art. Prior to joining Wolff Olins, he was the Executive Creative Director at West, leading design across a portfolio of early-stage companies alongside Allison Johnson. He recently served on the Board of Directors for AIGA NY and is currently teaching one of CCA's inaugural courses — Future Design. His work has been exhibited at MoMA, the Royal Ontario Museum and at numerous international biennials. He is the recipient of design accolades including the Cannes Gold Design Lion and the ADC Black Cube.
