Design is a journey. Or at least it should be. Some projects are quick jaunts, while others are full-fledged expeditions. More and more it seems, due to budget constraints, quick deadlines and client expectations, those journeys are less enjoyable than they once were. The pressure and anxiety associated with many assignments find us travelling at high speeds with a stop-for-nothing approach. Often our creativity demands that we take things a bit slower, enjoy the scenery and explore the stops along the route.
