Events Committee
Starting anything new can be very intimidating. When I joined the Events Committee, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Being surrounded by many amazing and accomplished designers was scary! Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging and they were open to all my suggestions. I could see how excited they were to have a new Member on the team. What We Do
- Provide meaningful and accessible opportunities for networking, professional development and community building
- Develop, coordinate and promote RGD virtual and local events, including Studio Tours, Career Fairs, Creatives Off the Clock and more.
- Develop programming for RGD’s DesignThinkers Conference, promote the event and engage with attendees both in-person and online.
- Host live, virtual professional development webinars that are accessible from anywhere in North America. These sessions cover industry trends, business best practices, insights into the design process and more.
