Call for Speakers: Share your insights through the RGD

The RGD is always looking for speakers for webinars, including for our series covering accessible design, branding, business, in-house design, UX design, signage & wayfinding and typography. 

RGD Members attend all RGD webinars for free, while non-members pay a small fee to attend.

DesignThinkers is Canada’s largest conference for communication designers and related professionals. It brings together visionaries from a range of disciplines to explore creativity, the design process, the future of design and design thinking.

DesignThinkers Vancouver takes place on May 4-5, 2027.
DesignThinkers Toronto takes place on October 21-22, 2027.

The RGD invites proposals that offer meaningful, practical and thought-provoking takeaways that help attendees become more effective, thoughtful and ethical creative professionals.

The deadline for submissions is November 20, 2026 for Vancouver and April 16, 2027 for Toronto.

Submit a speaker proposal for DesignThinkers

Our 2027 In-House Conference in Toronto takes place on June 9 at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, Metro Reference Library (also live-streamed). The deadline for proposals is February 28, 2027.

We are planning to also present an In-House Conference in Edmonton on December 1, 2026. The deadline for proposals is August 7, 2026.

We are particularly interested in presentations covering the following: Accessible Design, Artificial Intelligence, Brand Strategy, Client Communications & Management, HR/Team Management, Career Progression, Technical Skills, Productivity & Workflows, UX.

Presentation proposals may be for presentations that are 20 or 40 minutes long.
