Design Educators Virtual Community
Design education is in flux, as is the entire industry, so now more than ever is the time for those of us training future designers to contribute to the discussion about what is needed.
This virtual space is intended for design educators active in teaching at the post-secondary level. It is a space to share thoughts and ideas, discuss challenges and successes, and to support each other through new experiences and reoccurring phenomenon.
We will have a Slack channel where relevant discussion topics and “in the news” items can be shared. The aim is to meet virtually once every 6 weeks, with topics/prompts published in advance to guide the conversation. The more engagement we get, the more rewarding the experience will be. We hope you will join us!
