The RGD announces 2024 Student Award Winners

After receiving over 1,165 entries from students across Canada, this year's judges have selected our Winners.

The RGD's Student Awards program brings industry professionals together with emerging designers to promote excellence and encourage the next generation of design professionals to the highest levels of creativity, innovation and conceptualization. Since its launch in 1998, the RGD has distributed over $400,000 in cash prizes.

The 2024 program accepted entries in 18 categories (each with a $1,000 case prize provided by our amazing industry partners), representing a range of disciplines and areas of specialty.

“The RGD’s Student Awards program showcases the incredible talents, ingenuity and innovative design work from future design leaders. I’m so thankful to the folks who encourage students to participate in our awards program, as well as the judges and mentors who provide invaluable feedback to all entrants. Record numbers of entries speak to the value of this awards program, and I couldn’t be more proud of all involved.”

Thank you to our judges for evaluating the entries, supporting the Awards program, and all the students who applied.
