Apply to participate in the RGD's 2024 Great Canadian Studio Crawl
In its second year, the Great Canadian Studio Crawl gives creative studios from coast to coast an opportunity to virtually showcase their working spaces, teams and designs through a short video tour.
Studios interested in participating can fill out this form by Friday, February 16.
Participating studios are required to submit their video tours by March 1 and the online event will take place on March 22.
“I'm thrilled that the RGD is hosting the Great Canadian Studio Crawl for a second year. During last year's video tours, we were welcomed into creative spaces from coast to coast and met some really talented designers and industry leaders. We received great feedback from participating studios and hope to build on that success. I'm excited to see where this year's studio crawl will take us.”
Kathleen Scott RGD, Chair of our Events Committee
The pre-recorded tours by participating studios will be uploaded to the RGD’s YouTube and will go live throughout the day. The online tours are free for all to watch. All types of creative studios are invited to apply — from agencies to in-house to solo or anything else. The studio tours can be up to three minutes long and should include:
- Exterior/building and/or studio neighbourhood
- Tour of the physical working space(s)/show people working in the studio
- History/philosophy of the studio
- Work done by the studio
- Interesting/fun fact about the studio
