Project Manager

Intent is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our creative communications agency. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and proactive individual who relishes in managing complex projects and has a passion for achieving client goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of various clients’ projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, within budget and to the highest level of client satisfaction. 

Key responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met. 
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, copywriters and strategists, to ensure seamless project execution. 
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including team members, budgets and timelines. 
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and conduct regular quality checks to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence. 
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential risks and challenges and develop proactive solutions to mitigate issues and keep projects on track. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders, including status reports, timelines and budget summaries. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in a creative agency or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Asana, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and especially a high attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. 
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent certification is a plus. 
  • This is a work from home position, Intent currently operates a 100% remote model. Hours are somewhat flexible for the right candidate. 

Salary range

$65,000–80,000

Monthly profit sharing at successful probation period completion

Vacation: Starting with 12 days plus all stat holidays. Intent effectively closes over the holidays, providing at minimum, an extra five days of holiday time that is not deducted from your holiday time.

Qualifications of the candidate

  • The most important qualification for this project is that you are intrinsically motivated. 
  • You must desire to work hard on important projects for inspiring clients. And you want to make a difference with your work. You must be collaborative and want to work with our team. And lastly, you must commit to following our defined processes for projects and account management.
  • Experience managing or coordinating people in some capacity required, does not have to be in an agency setting 
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university program is preferred 
  • Experience working in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem is preferred (Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office suite, etc.)
