DesignThinkers Vancouver 2024: Into the Rabbit Hole we go
Join us on May 28-29 for the annual DesignThinkers Conference in Vancouver to immerse yourself in the world of graphic design, hear from the best in the business, make lasting connections with peers, learn new skills from hands-on workshops and to be inspired!
With 2 concurrent streams and 12 sessions per day to choose from, the 2024 speaker line-up includes:

While registering for the conference, delegates are also invited to sign-up for the roundtable discussions and workshops being held during the conference. Pre-registration is preferred, as the seats fill up fast for the additional programming during the conference.
This year's conference features workshops on topics including Lego letterpress, strategies to define and communicate your individual design persona, dynamic pattern making, typefaces for logos and more
The roundtable discussions will take place in the morning and during lunch, offering something for all levels of creatives. You can pick from various topics including:
- Diversity and Inclusion: Designing a more representative world
- Personas, archetypes, anti-personas: Best practices for these and other UX tools
- Unmute yourself: Strategies for speaking up and being heard
- Future-proofing your design career: Skills for the next decade
- Futuristic fantasy to practical reality: Leveraging AI tools in the design process
- Take a seat: How to claim your spot at the business table
- Student-focused: Harnessing productive failure in design: navigating criticism, rejection and failure
In addition to this, delegates will have an opportunity to connect with vendors and see, feel, sample, test and consider the latest products and services available to our industry in the Designer Marketplace. On Day 2 of the conference, you can sign up for a tour of the scenic Northeastern University campus, only a short walk from the conference venue. They will also be offering free lunch!
