Your responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute art direction/designs that span digital, social media, and traditional media. Concepts are insightful and evoke an emotion; they answer the brief, are ownable and stand-out. Finished work is original and flawless – exceeding your own expectations and those around you
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to brainstorm, collaborate, and communicate effectively with colleagues, content owners, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Display a disciplined attention to many details, particularly while working under pressure to meet quick turnaround times
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently or with a partner, with a reputation for effective deadline- and project-management skills
- Manage multiple projects at once with competing deadlines (approx. 4)
- Be a patient listener, a clear communicator and confident presenter. Your intelligence includes EQ – you can read the room and respond accordingly
- Be a curious and critical thinker – ask tough questions (where appropriate/necessary), encourage fresh perspectives and solutions
- Bring your expertise and proficiency in the role with industry specific awareness

- Build sincere relationships and prove yourself as a dependable Intermediate AD/Designer
- Report to a CCO. You will not have any direct reports at this level
You bring
- At least five years of direct work experience as an AD/Designer on digital and advertising projects, including websites
- A passion for design that borders on the obsessive, combined with an understanding of the latest graphic design methods, styles, techniques, and principles
- Strong ability to communicate higher-level conceptual thinking, either through linears, reference shots, mock-ups, etc.
- A high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, PowerPoint, Keynote along with a strong understanding of content management systems, HTML, and CSS. You embrace AI and use it as a tool to make your work better and your time more productive
- You understand all ad platforms (traditional and digital) and reflect the nuances of them in your work
- Experience in contributing ideas and developing storyboards and assets for video or motion graphics
- The ability to analyze technical information and interpret ideas visually
- A solid understanding of intuitive site functionality, interaction, and user-centered experience design and digital marketing, and advanced skills in creating compelling motion storytelling using tools such as After Effects and Adobe Premiere, whether through advertising or video, will be considered an asset, but not mandatory
Salary range
$75,000-$80,000
