Mackenzie Investments Everest South Africa Brochure

IGM Internal Agency

Toronto, ON

The Mackenzie Investments Everest South Africa Brochure celebrates top-performing sales professionals with an exclusive incentive trip. While the client requested a standard incentive travel brochure—a practical piece communicating trip details and logistics—the team recognized these elite performers expect communications that reflect their exceptional status. The team proposed elevating it into a premium keepsake, balancing sophisticated storytelling with practical information while capturing South Africa’s iconic wildlife. Under the theme “Land of Spirit and Stories,” the design channels luxury safari through an Hermès lens—illustrated wildlife motifs interact dynamically with typography while premium printing techniques create tactile richness in a digital-first world. Evocative, culturally authentic copy immerses readers in a South African experience. The results exceeded expectations, transforming a standard corporate brochure into a coffee-table-worthy publication that recipients genuinely treasured. The 16-page piece functions as both a practical itinerary and aspirational keepsake, proving that corporate communications can inspire as much as they inform.

Judge’s Pick

“This project transforms something ordinary into something extraordinary. It’s a great example of what strong in-house teams can achieve when they deeply understand their audience. Through thoughtful research and clear intent, the team took a standard travel itinerary and reimagined it as a visual story. What I especially appreciate is that the design never loses sight of its purpose. The information remains clear and easy to navigate, while the thoughtful use of typography, colour and texture elevates the entire experience. Each design choice adds richness and guides the viewer naturally through the content. The final piece feels both practical and beautiful.”
